- My two USR Courier V.Everything modems seem to have difficulty
- recognizing one type of distinctive ring of the local telephone
- system -- one with a long pulse and low frequency. (They readily
- recognize another type of ring that's shorter and faster.)
-
- USR tech support says there's no option to adjust the V.Everything
- for a Distinctive Ring, nor can I find anything in the manual that
- might constitute an adjustment.
-
- Has anyone else encountered this problem and found a workaround?
